T & J Bowden Constructions is part of the Bowden Group of Companies. The main aim of the principals, father and son team Terry & Justin Bowden, was to create a business that would specialise in the renovation of traditional Queensland homes within the South-East Brisbane area.
The Bowden Group started business in Morningside in Brisbane’s South East suburbs in 1990 and are still going strong today. They have an obvious passion for Queensland architecture and take great pride in the restoration and renovation of these homes.
Terry has long been recognized for his vast experience in construction and property, showing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to the very highest level of professionalism and integrity. He maintains an active interest in the critical relationships with our clients across all of our operations on a day to day basis.
Justin completed his apprenticeship in 2003 with both the family company, and another local HIA award winning builder. Now also a fully licensed builder, his knowledge and experience have allowed the company to integrate services that were considered beneficial in making us a stronger and more successful organisation.
T & J Bowden offers a complete package of Building Services through a team of reliable, well established businesses (e.g. design, drafting, engineering, surveying, town planning etc) which is rarely offered within the renovation market. Driven by practical and cost effective building procedures, a comprehensive knowledge of each project is obtained prior to construction, helping to ensure a smooth and problem free renovation process, and resulting in a high level of satisfaction from our clients as well as providing a strong referral base for future projects.
On completion of projects, we provide you with a portfolio containing the relevant building approvals, certificates, suppliers’ names and a list of the trade contractors that have worked on your job for future reference. We also keep in touch three months after completion of the project, as a follow up, to ensure all is in order, and to reinforce our commitment to service.
As members of the Queensland Master Builders Association, we have on hand many services to provide us with business guidance and advice if required, and to provide expertise in many areas such as contractual matters and work place health and safety.
We focus on offering the complete package of “concept to completion” with a high level of service and professionalism. Both Terry and Justin have been recognized for their ability to complete projects on time, within budget and to the level of quality required by both the client, and building certifiers.
